Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa Department of ENT is seeking a full-time audiologist to join our busy practice of dedicated professionals (five Physicians, one Physician Assistant - Certified, and four full-time Audiologists). This role consists mainly of diagnostic testing at locations including the primary Cedar Rapids clinic and multiple community outreach clinics staffed by PCI ENT physicians. Outreach clinics are within 25-75 miles from PCI and occur 1-2 times per week.
This individual will conduct adult and pediatric audiometric testing (conventional audiometry, DPOAE screens, Visual Reinforcement Audiometry, Conditioned Play Audiometry, immittance testing) to determine presence or absence of disorders related to hearing. The candidate will be able to administer balance testing if interested (VNG). This individual will counsel patients regarding hearing test results.
Applicants must be Au.D. or Masters-level audiologist appropriately licensed in the state of Iowa. Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association preferred.
The leading candidate will demonstrate behaviors reflective of PCI’s culture including commitment to providing excellent patient care, dedication to teamwork and working well with others, reliability, and will possess excellent communication skills. Must be or become proficient in utilizing computer systems including the electronic medical record system.
