Candidate requirements A nursing degree from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) is necessary. Passing the NCLEX-RN exam is mandatory, preferably from a reputable institution (BRN). Candidates must undergo a criminal background check. Continuing education courses are required to maintain your license. Non-native English speakers may be asked to demonstrate proficiency. A minimum of two years of intensive care experience is essential. COVID vaccination is a requirement. Candidates must have ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications.
