Specialization: Emergency MedicineHCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is searching for Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team at HCA Florida Champions Gate FSED in Davenport, Florida.Candidates must be BC/BP EM via the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM).Independent Contractor Status9k ER Visits per yearFully integrated with HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital12 emergency room bays, including a fully equipped Trauma baySeparate pediatric waiting area, triage, and a dedicated bayState of the art imaging, including CT, Ultrasound, and RadiologyCovered ambulance entrance for patient drop-off/pick-up and EMS loungePatients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialistsThe HCA Florida Champions Gate FSED offers easy, convenient access to emergency care 24-hours a day with all the resources you need for acute care of a serious illness or injury. The ER is physically distinct from an inpatient, traditional hospital and with the exception of trauma, will offer the same services as traditional ERs, accept ambulance service and have on-site CT Scan, Ultrasound, X-ray and laboratory services. The HCA Florida Champions Gate ER is staffed by physicians Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and nurses with emergency medicine experience and certifications.
