Be a Neurologist with our interdisciplinary team of experts by providing evaluation and diagnostic services to neurodiverse individuals with neurological, psychological, developmental and/or behavioral concerns. We invite Neurologist to join our collaborative team of professionals which includes neurologists, developmental pediatricians, neuropsychologists, advanced practice nurses/psychiatric specialists, behavior analysts and other disciplines.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in Autism Spectrum Disorders, Intellectual Disabilities, and broad experience with a pediatric population.

Diagnose and treat pediatric through adult patients with autism and other neurological, neurodevelopmental, neuropsychiatric, and neurobehavioral disorders in a multidisciplinary environment.

What You Will Do:
  • Diagnoses complex neurological and neurodevelopmental problems by examining patients, reviewing their history, and conducting neurological tests, including high density EEG's.
  • Counsels patients and families on neurological disorders and their background.
  • Orders neurological tests and interprets the results of neuro-imaging studies.
  • Prescribes and/or administers treatment and medication and monitors behavioral and cognitive side effects.
  • Within a multidisciplinary environment, teams with other clinicians, including neurodevelopmental pediatricians, neuropsychologists, neurogeneticists, applied behavior analysts, and creative arts therapists.
  • Participates in neuroscience research activities.
  • Consults with medical professionals in the community and hospitals.
  • Keeps up to date with neurological and neurodevelopmental research, treatment, and medication.
What You Will Bring to the Team:
  • MD or DO.
  • Accreditation with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).
  • Board certified/eligible in pediatric neurology.
  • Current state medical license and Federal DEA license.
  • 3 years of experience practicing as a Neurologist, including pediatric and adolescent populations.
  • Able to thrive in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Strong communication, counseling, listening and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
  • Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected, dependent on need.
  • This job operates in both a professional and home office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as a computer, phone, photocopier, filing cabinet, and printer.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving physical activity, which may include light-medium moving and extensive self-positioning.
