Practice Details
- Seeking a GI physician to work collaboratively with the current general surgeons and assist with reestablish our GI service line.
- The incoming GI will be the primary provider for scopes within the community.
- Hospital employed position covering one hospital
- Primarily an adult and geriatric patient base
- No clinic call requirements
- Hospitalists will admit patients as needed
- 10 days/month including one weekend/month hospital call
- Dedicated clinic and surgery days, which will be determined by the oncoming physician and Group.
- ERCP is not required
- The ideal physician will be comfortable working in a solo setting and enjoys living and practicing in a rural community
Compensation. The Starting Salary is $40,000 To $75,000 more compared to starting Medicine salaries in Houston and Dallas. Coupled with a cost of living of 20% lower than the aforementioned metropolitan areas, provides significant purchasing power to build their dream home, payoff school loans and retire early.
