How will you make an impact?

As a Senior Integration Services Analyst at MGIC, you will be supporting customers that use mortgage industry technologies to interact with MGIC across all aspects of the mortgage origination and servicing lifecycle and providing subject matter expertise on the topic. This will require interacting with multiple departments and business stakeholders to set up new integrations (standard or custom), upgrade existing integrations and to identify and resolve issues as quickly as possible with day-to-day transaction volume.

Senior Integration Services Analysts are responsible for executing complex and multi-phase integration projects with integrating customers and partner solution providers, including assignment to MGIC's top tier customers and partners (i.e., national accounts, GSE's, high volume providers). Qualified candidates will be required to handle multiple projects at the same time, and still provide best-in-class customer support for all B2B related transactions between MGIC and our integration partners.
  • Consult and work with external integration partners and multiple internal business units (i.e., underwriting, risk, claims, sales, information services, etc.) to build new and support existing B2B integrations.
  • Onboard new integration partners onto MGIC's B2B technology platform.
  • Create test plans and execute user acceptance testing for MGIC projects impacting integrations.
  • Consult and work with integrating customers and solution providers with QA and user acceptance testing and MGIC certification testing.
  • Monitor all B2B related integrations and volume, researching problems and acting when needed.
  • Work within partner solution technology platforms that are used by our customers to send business to MGIC, acting as an in-house expert in these systems. Provide demonstrations and educational materials to customers and MGIC staff related to these systems.
  • Represent MGIC when dealing with external partner solution providers and their respective project and/or support teams.
  • Identify and facilitate areas for process improvement with solid business case recommendations.
  • Train MGIC staff during on boarding and document processes in formal guides and policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization ("MISMO") through Communities of Practice ("COPs"), Development Workgroups ("DWGs") or other committees to represent MGIC's best interest in integration standards efforts.
  • Travel occasionally to industry related conferences, as needed.
  • Interview job candidates, as needed.
Do you have what it takes?
  • Expertise working with leading mortgage technology platforms, including loan origination systems ("LOS") (i.e., ICE Mortgage Technology Encompass), product and pricing engines ("PPEs") (i.e., Optimal Blue) and/or servicing platforms (i.e., ICE Mortgage Technology MSP). Operational "know how" of administrative functions within those systems is preferred.
  • Strong experience working in a mortgage production, processing, and/or servicing environment. Knowledge of the mortgage loan lifecycle, including origination, processing, underwriting, closing, and servicing.
  • Experience with processes involving the pricing and ordering of mortgage insurance.
  • Expertise working with mortgage industry data standards (MISMO) in their native format (XML) and other file formats, such as X12 and JSON APIs.
  • Experience with various software development lifecycles ("SDLCs"), road mapping and project management principles.
  • Experience writing test cases/plans, testing, and logging defects.
  • Demonstrated communication proficiency with the ability to document and communicate detailed technical requirements when a) troubleshooting and resolving issues and b) leading projects, as well as providing high level summaries when communicating to business leaders.

You might be a good fit if you like to:
  • Start and continue relationships between MGIC and our partners
  • Help customers with integration issues during onboarding and provide excellent follow through service afterwards
  • Think on your feet and help resolve issues in real time
  • Work and communicate with others
  • Learn and understand new technologies
  • Multitask and manage changing priorities
  • Learn and establish best practices for the Integration Services team
What you can learn on the job:

  • New technology tools
What does success look like?
First 30 days:
  • Learn about MGIC's business and participate in B2B integration support, helping to troubleshoot issues to learn more about the integrations

  • Share prior expertise with team members where applicable
    First 6 months:
  • Complete your first few integration projects
  • Expand your knowledge of MGIC systems and processes to more projects
  • Provide support for large enterprise projects (participating in UAT testing related to integrations) First year:

  • Champion for continuous improvement and helping teams to adopt new processes and ways of doing things

Enjoy these benefits from day one:

• Competitive Salary & pay-for-performance bonus
