We're Hiring: Vice President of Operations | Horwitz

As we grow and invest in the future, we're looking for a Vice President of Operations to help lead the way. This senior-level role will partner directly with our President & CEO to align operations across six construction divisions, strengthen internal systems, and position Horwitz as a continued leader in the MEP space.

You'll be part of a culture that values trust, curiosity, and teamwork-and you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact, not just on how we operate, but on how we grow the next generation of leaders.

What this role will focus on:

  • Supporting and aligning our six operating divisions to work more collaboratively and efficiently
  • Overseeing project execution with a focus on safety, profitability, customer satisfaction, and quality
  • Managing budgets, forecasting, labor planning, and purchasing strategies
  • Enhancing our use of technology and standardizing processes across teams
  • Driving integration between fabrication, manufacturing, and field operations
  • Partnering with leadership on workforce planning and development
  • Building strong relationships-internally and externally-to support long-term success
What we're looking for:
  • 15+ years of MEP experience in construction operations or executive roles
  • Strong financial acumen and proven leadership in project performance
  • Experience optimizing processes and integrating technology in project delivery
  • A strategic thinker who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
