Electro-Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, analyze, and document electromechanical systems to meet functional, quality, cost, reliability, manufacturability, and safety requirements.
- Support project success by adhering to schedules, budgets, performance, and quality goals.
- Create detailed project documentation, including drawings, engineering files, supplier communications, work instructions, and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
- Identify, debug, and troubleshoot electrical issues during production builds and implement effective solutions.
- Improve existing product designs with cost-effective solutions.
- Prepare and review reports and proposals, providing technical support throughout the product lifecycle.
- Design testing methods and procedures to ensure systems' reliability, performance, and safety.
- Enhance manufacturing and assembly methods for electrical products.
- Utilize testing equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.) to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
- Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications in production.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electro-Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
- Proficient in applying principles of mechanics, machine design, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and materials.
- Strong working knowledge of CAD software (Solidworks) for designing electromechanical systems and components.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and see them through to manufacturing completion.
- Collaboration: Ability to work well with others, including being willing to assist team members as needed.
- Problem-Solving: Skilled in identifying and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues during production.
- Innovation: A desire to learn new technologies and processes to improve existing systems.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure they meet all technical, cost, and scheduling requirements.
