Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. You will work with individuals of all ages, including pediatric, adolescent, and adult populations, to help improve their communication skills and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, patient needs, and goals.
  • Provide speech therapy interventions for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Educate and support patients and their families regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (doctors, occupational therapists, etc.) to develop and implement multidisciplinary treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy techniques as necessary.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with healthcare standards and regulations.
  • Provide guidance to family members and caregivers on supporting speech and language development or rehabilitation at home.
  • Stay updated on best practices and current research in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience in assessing and treating a variety of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Ability to work effectively with patients of various ages and backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with pediatric and/or geriatric populations.
  • Experience in a specific area (e.g., aphasia, dysphagia, articulation disorders).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
