Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior UX Designer with a proven track record in strategic design thinking and application of best design principles. This role is crucial for guiding our design frameworks at RxVantage and ensuring our solutions are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to scale the product design discipline and partner with product and engineering to deliver new experiences for our users. As our design team matures, so will this role.

This role will be acting as an individual contributor. This is to ensure that best practices in design are socialized and integrated across our product and engineering teams; as you build out the design team, this role may transform into a management and leadership role, while still maintaining its foundation as a player-coach.

What You'll be doing:

  • Use advanced features of Figma, including components, component blocks, and templates to improve design efficiency and consistency
  • Make informed design choices based on a well articulated philosophy, ensuring each decision improves user interaction
  • Maintain a high standard of visual aesthetics to ensure all design outputs are aligned with our brand identity
  • Apply best design principles to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces
  • Provide input into the organization and maintenance of our design system and related artifacts, ensuring they are current and effectively represent our brand standards
  • Champion the continuous improvement of our design system, integrating best design practices to maintain relevance and effectiveness
  • Guide the future of the design practice and team, including socializing best practices and design norms with product and engineering leadership
  • Continuously iterate with Engineering and Product Management to implement a version of agile processes that work well for the team
  • Contribute to creating an inclusive environment that welcomes cross-functional collaboration
The ideal candidate:
  • Experience with end-to-end software design and agile development
  • A robust portfolio demonstrating expertise in Figma and a commitment to user centric design practices
  • Passion for meticulous organization of design systems and a proactive approach to refining design artifacts
  • Strong aesthetic sense combined with practical UX design skills
  • Ability to articulate design choices and the underlying rationale with clarity and confidence
  • Proven experience in managing design systems and leading design projects in a business environment
  • Thoughtful communicator, across time zones and across disciplines
