Responsibilities:
  • Conducting physical and psychological assessments and developing or following a treatment plan.
  • Advising on adaptive equipment to help patients with daily activities.
  • Developing physical rehabilitation programs to help patients regain lost skills.
  • Educating caregivers and family members on patient care.
  • Evaluating results and progress of occupational therapy.
  • Complying with federal, state, and local certification requirements.
  • Evaluating patient condition regarding physical and basic mental health.
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • The Occupational Therapist(s) must have a license issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy
  • The Occupational Therapist(s) must be registered with the National Registry of the American Occupational Therapy Association
  • The Occupational Therapist(s) must have a Master's Degree or higher in occupational therapy
  • The Occupational Therapist(s) must have one-year experience working with children with additional disabilities
  • The Occupational Therapist(s) will have completion of a minimum of six (6) months of supervised Occupational Therapy fieldwork.
