Position Overview

The Operations Manager is an entry-level leadership role designed for individuals with a passion for managing and optimizing warehouse and yard operations. You'll oversee daily workflows, coordinate teams, and ensure high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction. This position is perfect for someone eager to grow their career in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and guide warehouse and yard associates to achieve operational goals and ensure efficient workflows.
  • Operational Efficiency: Manage daily activities, including inventory control, material handling, and order fulfillment, to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.
  • Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
  • Resource Coordination: Oversee equipment usage and maintenance, ensuring optimal availability and performance.
  • Customer Support: Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer needs and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities, propose solutions to streamline processes, and implement best practices to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
Requirements

What We're Looking For
  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field (preferred).
    • 1-3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations management is a plus.
      • Skills & Competencies:
        • Strong leadership and team management skills with a collaborative mindset.
        • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
        • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
        • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
        • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
