Polysomnography Tech / Sleep Tech (RPSGT) Full-Time | Day and Night Shift available

MLee Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Sleep Technician to join our team. In this role, you will conduct sleep studies, monitor patients overnight, and ensure accurate data collection to support the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.
Key Responsibilities for a Polysomnography Tech / Sleep Tech:
- Set up and calibrate sleep study equipment to ensure accurate readings and patient comfort.
- Perform overnight polysomnography, including monitoring and recording various physiological parameters such as brain waves, heart rate, and breathing patterns.
- Assist patients in preparing for sleep studies, including explaining procedures and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Monitor patient data throughout the night, adjusting equipment as necessary and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Analyze and interpret sleep study data to identify patterns and anomalies related to sleep disorders.
- Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or licensed as an RRT.
- Associate's degree or higher in Polysomnography, Respiratory Therapy, or a related field.
- Experience in conducting sleep studies and familiarity with polysomnography equipment.
- Knowledge of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia, and restless legs syndrome.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
