Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Millwork Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for creating custom millwork designs for a wide range of projects. Our ideal candidate is someone who has extensive knowledge and experience in the engineering industry, particularly in the areas of cabinet, cabinetry, and furniture design. You will be using advanced software tools such as Microvellum, Autocad, and Inventor, and will be expected to operate CNC machinery. This role requires a high degree of drafting and design skills, and an ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and engineer detailed millwork packages using Microvellum, Autocad, and Inventor.
2. Operate and program CNC machinery to produce high-quality millwork components.
3. Collaborate closely with the design team and other engineers to ensure all designs are feasible and meet the project specifications.
4. Perform detailed drafting of furniture and cabinetry designs, ensuring all drawings are accurate and clear.
5. Coordinate with project managers and production teams to ensure the smooth transition of designs from the concept stage to production.
6. Continually monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of millwork designs, making necessary adjustments to improve quality and efficiency.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the millwork and engineering industry to ensure our designs remain competitive and innovative.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
3. Proficiency in Microvellum, Autocad, and Inventor.
4. Experience operating and programming CNC machinery.
5. Extensive knowledge and experience in cabinet, cabinetry, and furniture design.
6. Exceptional drafting and design skills.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
10. Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
