The successful applicant will demonstrate passion for teaching, mentoring, interdisciplinary education, and lifelong learning, and serve as a model of professional behavior and a scholarly approach to clinical work. If interested, opportunity exists to provide supervision and lectures to residents, medical students, and interdisciplinary learners, and participate in a range of learning forums and scholarly activities. Summary · Work and grow within a dynamic and expanding Behavioral Health Service · Participate in the education and training of a broad array of interdisciplinary learners within a young, evolving, and full-accredited general psychiatry training program. · Actively collaborate with other onsite accredited residency programs in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and General Surgery · Robust opportunity to develop innovative clinical and educational programs · Clinical activity reflects an individually negotiated blend of applicant interest and HFJH needs. Minimum Education · Graduate of a medical school. · Graduate of an ACGME or AOA training program. · ABPN Board Certified / Eligible Applicants must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, possess a current license to practice medicine in the State of Michigan, completed an accredited residency in Psychiatry, and be board certified or eligible (BE/BC) in Psychiatry. Candidates must have shown promise for a career emphasizing clinical care, teaching and/or administration, and a firm commitment to developing superior clinical and teaching skills. An interest in delivery of new and innovative care models is most welcome.
