Job Description

Our client is currently looking to hire an experienced Energy Engineer to join their team. They have a backlog of exciting work, projects consistently being build and a strong outlook for future growth of the company. They are looking for someone who can perform detailed energy audits and lead/assist with follow-up design recommended Energy Efficiency Measures after audits are complete.

Energy Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Perform energy audits, commissioning, retro-commissioning and measurement verification.
  • Be a part of the design team that implements the audit into a set of engineering drawings and technical specifications issued for construction.
  • Represent the company professionally while doing field work and in client meetings.
  • Work with client facility staff to gather the required site and equipment data information independently.
  • Develop engineering design packages as deliverables to support projects.
  • Modeling budgeted costs and saving impacts.
Energy Engineer Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
  • 3+ year's of engineering experience related to mechanical design, energy modeling or construction
  • 2-3 years of experience in the energy efficiency industry.
  • Strong understanding of how building systems affect energy consumption
  • Ability to travel to job-site(up to 50%)
  • Technical writing
