  • UI skills most important - React, TypeScript, HTML
  • zure and Figma are nice to have - needs to at least know what these are/have familiarity.
  • 8-10 years of React is ideal, but open to someone with 6-7 years who is excellent


Job Description
New Balance is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (ReactJS + TypeScript) to join an agile team charged with digitizing our product development and manufacturing process. You will be collaborating with the Product Management organization to understand user needs, design, and develop React JS Single Page Applications. Your work will directly impact the lives of our product design, development, and manufacturing teams by delivering delightful user experiences and workflow efficiencies.

What you'll do:
Collaborate with the product owner and team of engineers to break down complex features into smaller increments and implement them
DESIGN and CODE Single Page Web Applications both customer facing and factory facing
Collaborate with the architect to research new technologies, execute technical proof of concepts, and provide technology recommendations
Must-Have Skills/Background:
Qualifications:
Strong experience in building Single Page Applications using React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
Strong experience in integrating with RESTful APIs with authentication
Experience with Responsive Design
Good to have some experience creating UX designs using Figma
ptitude in designing delightful user experiences in collaboration with users
Experience on zure (preferred) or any cloud platform is desired
Excited about writing professional quality, refactoring friendly code using Test Driven Development
Solid knowledge of software engineering best practices
Passionate about learning new skills, applying it and teaching others
You have a passion for supporting and enabling others to become more productive
Experience working in an gile environment
You care about quality and you know what it means to ship high-quality code using modern dev tools, process and methodologies like TDD, Unit Testing & Functional testing using Mocha, Chai, Jest or other frameworks.
Experience building or at minimum using CI/CD processes and tools for client-side JavaScript components
Effective visual communicator - you can communicate complex problems to business and technology stakeholders using visual collaboration tools
10 or more years of professional software development experience
