We are looking for a driven Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Operations team at our NJ headquarters. As a Senior DevOps Engineer and a member of the Operations team, you will be responsible for supporting automated deployment pipelines and internal application integrations as well as administering Microsoft Office 365 and Azure DevOps internally. This individual will actively interact across multiple teams including Director, Vice President, and C level staff.

This full-time position will be based in our Morristown, NJ headquarters. We are not offering relocation for this position and are restricting our search to candidates who will be able to commute to our NJ office.

What you will do at DataMotion:

  • Create, support, and continually improve automated deployment pipelines via Azure DevOps (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD))
  • Create, support, and continually improve Infrastructure as Code scripts and pipelines (i.e. Bicep, Terraform, YAML)
  • Administer and support Azure DevOps internally
  • Assist with the support of QA and Development Azure resources
  • Support internal application integrations using a variety of automation and integration workflow tools including Microsoft Power Automate. Existing integrations include the following applications:
    • Adobe Sign
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365
    • Microsoft Business Central
    • Microsoft SharePoint
    • Microsoft Approvals
    • Microsoft Office 365 Outlook
    • Microsoft Forms
    • Solver
  • Administer and Support Microsoft Office 365 internally
What you bring to this role:
  • Ability to perform all the activities listed above
  • 5+ years of DevOps experience
  • 5+ years of Azure experience
  • 3+ years of Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD pipelines
  • 3+ years creating and supporting PowerShell and/or command line scripts
  • 2+ years working experience with troubleshooting automation build failures in the CI/CD pipeline
  • 2+ years creating and supporting internal application integrations using automated workflows.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively across multiple agile teams including Software Engineers, QA, Product, HR, Sales, and Marketing as well as Directors, Vice Presidents, and C level staff
  • A self-starter that can work in isolation as well as collaboratively
  • Have an expertise in automated deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps (CI/CD)
  • Have experience writing and maintaining infrastructure as code scripts that are consumed by automated deployment pipelines
  • Ability to create and support internal application integrations and workflows
  • Are comfortable administering and supporting Microsoft Office 365
  • Expert at balancing priorities in an agile environment
  • Proven track record of practical, thoughtful problem solving
  • Excellent documentation skills
Nice to have:
  • Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), specifically Scrum and Agile methodology
  • Experience using the Bicep Infrastructure as Code programming language
  • Experience using the YAML programming language
  • Experience with administering Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience with administering and supporting Azure DevOps
  • Experience with Git / TFS source control

  • Computer Science or Related: Bachelor's degree (Required), Master's degree (Preferred)
