Your Role as Clinical Nurse Coordinator:

In this key leadership position, you will ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in the Medical Care Unit. You will collaborate with a diverse management team to oversee nursing care operations, mentor your staff, and champion a culture of teamwork and improved patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate efficient admission and discharge processes to enhance patient flow.
  • Evaluate and enhance the quality of nursing care services, working with your team to implement improvements.
  • Engage in teamwork to foster a supportive environment that promotes exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Lead staff development through training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure effective scheduling and labor management to meet patient care needs.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory and managing supplies and equipment effectively.

Qualifications Needed:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
  • Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Multistate Compact License.
  • A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience in an acute care hospital is required.
  • 1 year of leadership experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
