Job Description Aerotek is looking for Quality Inspectors in the Thomaston/Torrington area for an immediate job opportunity. These inspectors will be doing visual inspections on various plastic molded parts such as bowls, cups, and mugs. JOB DUTIES: Take and follow a work order and work instructions sheet Receive material from water spider/operator Perform visual and dimensional inspection on all parts on the floor, including various medical devices, gears, handles, etc. Use standard measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges for inspections Assist in other areas when machines are down, including moving material, helping in the lab, pulling parts off a line, and packing Skills Experience with micrometers, calipers, gauges/dial indicators Understanding decimals (tenths, hundredths, thousandths) Blueprint reading is a plus Ability to read and write documents in English About Aerotek: We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
