**Job Summary:**
CLW is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and positively impact the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities in our day program located in Forest Park, OH. This full-time position offers daytime hours, Monday through Friday.

**Responsibilities:**
- Dispense medications to clients as needed and maintain accurate records of administrations
- Assess and treat client illnesses and injuries, ensuring timely follow-up care
- Monitor and document client symptoms of mental or physical conditions
- Administer medical care based on orders from healthcare professionals
- Provide necessary first aid when required
- Develop and implement preventive health measures aligned with Individual Service Plans (ISPs)
- Encourage and support client engagement in treatment programs
- Attend promptly to clients' physical and personal needs
- Maintain detailed and clear documentation of care, programs, and significant behaviors
- At times may be needed to assist in transporting clients
- Execute any additional duties as assigned

**Qualifications:**
- Possession of an active nursing license issued by the state of Ohio
- Proficient mathematical and logical skills required for client assessment, treatment, and medication management
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and fellow staff members
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

**Education and Experience:**
- Completion of an associate's degree, diploma, or bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution **or** successfully graduating from a state-approved nursing program
