AOI Operator

VadaTech is a world leader in the design and manufacture of embedded computing solutions. We are currently seeking AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection) X-ray Technicians. This role is responsible for operating AOI and x-ray /SMT equipment while collecting and reporting raw data of AOI/X-ray operations.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for the operation of :
- AOI machine including setting up inspection profiles
- X-ray equipment
- Selective solder machine
- Aqueous washer and stencil cleaner
Requirements
- Prior experience of at least 2 years of operating SMT equipment such as AOI, X-ray, selective solder, aqueous washer and stencil cleaner.
- Understanding of electronic component types and packaging(i.e. BGA, SOICS, RES/CAP packages etc.)
- Ability to read and understand engineering assembly document such as BOM's, assembly drawings, engineering change orders, quality process documents
- Interpret engineering drawings and documentation
- Computer literate and ability to communicate in the English language both written and oral.
