Responsibilities

This position is responsible for assisting in administering of personalized, professional and quality patient care, internal and external customer service, performance of all CT (Cast Scan) examinations, moving of patients to and from Imaging Services, preparation of all departmental paperwork, answering the department's telephone, schedule of patients, entering and retrieving patient information from the Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) and Hospital Information System (HIS) and maintaining the work area in a clean and organized manner.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as an RT.
  • CT Certification or certification eligible with successful completion of certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Licensed by the Department of Environmental Protection Bureau of X-ray compliance State of New Jersey.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Preferred Job Requirements:
  • Previous employment as a Radiology Technologist.
