Pay Rate: $26-$27.60/hr
Shifts: 12 hour shifts
Job Description:
We are seeking motivated Manufacturing Technicians to join our team. You will be responsible for performing functions associated with all wafer production operations. Performs set-up, calibration, and some preventative maintenance tasks on wafer fabrication equipment. You will have the opportunity to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization. You will be required to participate in safety expectations and culture. Assignments are routine and repetitious in nature with work performed in narrowly defined parameters. Limited judgment will be required to resolve standard problems as you will receive detailed instructions for all work. Training others with documented instruction may be required at a later time to support the business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain specialized processing equipment in a clean room environment.
Perform tool owner / equipment sustaining, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
Do engineering data analysis, carry out experiments, perform basic scripting and SQL queries.
The job involves sustaining operations of factory equipment as well as frequent problem solving to support factory operations and developing strategies to prevent problem recurrence in future.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly lift loads up to 25 lbs.
Stand or sit for up to 9 hours within a shift.
Push carts for a distance of at least 500 meters.
Spend over 80% of work time in a clean room environment, wearing a full body clean suit
Work on a compressed work week schedule with 12-hour shifts alternating between three and four days per week.
Qualifications:
Must possess a BS degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics with industry related experience
Proficiency with computers and general software programs such as Microsoft Office
Additional Information:
Must be flexible with shift schedule in working later or earlier if required or mid-day shift.
The role requires working in a clean room environment and wearing specialized protective gear.
