Do you love climbing or challenging teambuilding activities? Are you ready to have fun this summer and make a difference working with kids? Every summer, Old Colony YMCA works with hundreds of children in fun and educational summer outdoor day camp programs. We are looking for you to be a role model and guide campers through activities

About the Role:

  • Lead 45 minute long ropes challenge course activity blocks for groups of 10-20 campers, ages 6-14.
    • we provide training
  • Summer program runs from June 17th to August 23rd.
    • Mandatory training days: May 31st 10am-5pm, June 3rd and 4th 5-8pm, June 7th 10am-5pm, June 10th and 13th 5-8pm, June 14th 8am-12pm.
  • Work schedule: Monday-Friday (no weekends), with shifts from 8:30 AM to 4:30pm PM.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years old by June 1st.
  • Up-to-date physical and immunizations (Same as required for school).
  • Strong communication skills: ability to read, write, talk, see, and hear.
  • Ability to lead age-appropriate games and activities.
  • Creativity and resourcefulness are highly valued
