Penetration Tester

VMax Technologies & Network Engineering is seeking a skilled Penetration Tester to join our security team. As a Penetration Tester, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing vulnerabilities in our clients' computer systems, networks, and applications. Your expertise in penetration testing and ethical hacking will be crucial in ensuring the security and integrity of our clients' infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Conducting penetration tests on computer systems, networks, and applications to identify vulnerabilities and security risks.
• Performing ethical hacking techniques to exploit vulnerabilities and gain unauthorized access in a controlled manner.
• Preparing detailed reports outlining the findings from penetration tests and recommending appropriate security measures.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities based on their potential impact.
• Staying up to date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and techniques in penetration testing.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Providing technical guidance and support to other team members and clients regarding security best practices.
• Participating in security incident response activities and assisting in the investigation and resolution of security incidents.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in penetration testing or ethical hacking.
• Proven knowledge and experience with penetration testing methodologies and tools.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and web technologies.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment and management tools.
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or CISSP are preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud platforms and technologies is a plus.
• Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
