Description:

Client requires the services of [1] Azure Cloud Solution Architect hereafter referred to as Worker, who meets the general qualification of Cloud Solution Architect 2 and the specifications outlined in this document. The Azure Cloud Solution Architect will be in an operational role, with the goal of improving the architecture discipline and security posture within the Client


Responsibility:

Improving Client's secure adoption of cloud architecture and technologies

Identifying and documenting security/technical deficiencies for organizational prioritization

Implementing process improvements and checklists for architectural review and approval

Supporting the Architecture Review Board (ARB) on project specific research and action items

Contributing to standards, patterns, and building blocks for architectural reuse

Skills:

4 - 7 Experience designing and implementing Azure cloud computing architecture, cloud deployment models, and workloads.

4 - 7 Experience designing and implementing Azure cloud security architecture and employing relevant tools.

4 - 7 Experience designing and implementing Azure networking concepts and security best practices to optimize the protection of cloud infrastructure and data.

4 - 7 Understanding of business requirements and ability to align Azure cloud solutions with business objectives.

4 - 7 Experience defining Azure cloud computing vision, strategy, standards, or reference architecture.

4 - 7 Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in simple terms to stakeholders and work effectively in a team.

Preferred (Optional):

2 Experience implementing projects with Client Data Center Services (DCS).

2 Ability to write scripts in a programming language such as Python, Terraform, or JavaScript to automate cloud deployment and management tasks.

2 Experience implementing DevSecOps for Azure. N/A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or relevant field.

At least 1 active cloud certification. Azure Solution Architect Expert is preferred.

Education: Bachelors Degree
