Job Description

Job Purpose:

  • Senior JBPM Consultant with strong analytical and technical ability with over 8 years of experience.
  • Should be able to assist in all deployment-related tasks including work planning, scheduling and training.
Job Background/context:
  • The position is based in India and will require the candidate to work on creating a framework for a highly extensible On-boarding platform
  • This role will report to the Front Office Technology Team lead in Pune.
  • Applies skills and knowledge of the business to develop creative solutions to meet client and business needs
  • The candidate will work with complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting needs
  • Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources
Key Responsibilities:
  • Should identify the business use-cases in existing systems and provide the JBPM workflow solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise to review, recommend and implement best practices for applications running in JBPM environment.
  • Should be able to design end to end JBPM solutions and enable/train development teams to implement it.
  • Work with very simple to complex workflows, asynchronous tasks, user tasks, event listeners and Business Central deployments & APIs.
  • Work on designing and implementing job prioritization and top level workflow manager.
  • Understanding user and technical requirements to successfully complete the request.
  • Architect, design, develop, and unit test new, scalable, robust software into production.
  • Operate within an agile development environment.
  • Employ standards, frameworks and patterns while designing and developing components.
  • Ability to work independently, good communication skills, has experience in working on complex and medium to large projects.
Person Specification

Knowledge/Technical Experience:
  • Over 7+ years of industry experience.
  • Experience in JBPM Process Design, end to end workflow implementation and versioning.
  • Solid knowledge in JBPM APIs Knowledge Base, Human-Task Service, Asynchronous Tasks, Event Listeners.
  • Knowledge in building rules with Drools rules engine.
  • Knowledge of BAM, Guvnor Repository, JBPM Console, Business Central and JBPM REST Services.
  • Should have strong knowledge and hands on experience in JAVA (Version 1.8 or above) / J2EE / Spring boot / restful Web Services.
  • Expertise in Spring Batch, Spring IOC, Spring Annotation, Spring Security.
  • Expertise in Junit frameworks like Mockito,TestNG will be a plus.
  • Knowledge on Micro services concepts will have added advantage.
  • Expertise in Server less applications (Embeded tomcat) and with WebSphere / WebLogic.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration via tools like Jenkins/Team city.
  • Messaging experience (JMS, ActiveMQ, Kafka) will have added advantage.
  • Basic understanding of ELK, Appdynamics.
