Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate Gastroenterologist to potentially take over the practice. As a GI Doctor at Center for Digestive Disorders, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating patients with digestive disorders and other gastrointestinal conditions. Your commitment to delivering compassionate care and your expertise in the field will be essential in improving the health and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive consultations, medical examinations, and diagnostic tests to evaluate patients' gastrointestinal health.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with various gastrointestinal conditions, including but not limited to, Crohn's disease, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, GERD, and liver diseases.
  • Perform endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, and other advanced therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Gastroenterology and apply evidence-based practices in patient care.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding their conditions and recommended treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with medical guidelines and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license in California
  • Completion of a Gastroenterology fellowship program.
  • Demonstrated passion for patient care and a patient-centric approach to medicine.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathize and connect with patients and their families.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with advancements in the field.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
