Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble components based on technical drawings and specifications.
  • Work with a variety of materials; composites, metals, plastics, and woods.
  • Develop and refine fabrication techniques and processes to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to solve complex fabrication challenges.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, ensuring all work meets functional and aesthetic criteria.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Willingness to learn precision composite fabrication techniques such as layups, infusion, and molding.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in general fabrication, with a strong understanding of fabrication tools and machinery.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to overcoming fabrication challenges.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn new skills, and develop new processes.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
