What You’ll Do
- Design scalable and robust AEM solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements. Define architecture patterns, components, and integrations to ensure optimal performance, security, and maintainability.
- Lead the technical team in the installation, configuration, and implementation of the AEM product suite solution in a secure cloud hosting environment.
- Lead the development and customization of AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations using best practices and industry standards. Provide guidance to development teams on AEM development techniques and methodologies.
- Ensure that AEM solutions comply with security standards, data privacy regulations, and industry best practices. Implement security controls, authentication mechanisms, and encryption protocols to protect sensitive data.
- Interact with clients to create end-to-end specifications for content and collaboration solutions.
- Design and implement customer engagement strategies to support multi-site, multi-channel, multi-lingual delivery environments.
- Develop digital consumer experiences and content-driven applications based on the foundational AEM product.
- Define implementation processes, quality gates, and standards.
- Define best practices to manage performance and scalability of the content management and content delivery solution.
- Diagnose and solve technical problems related to content management implementation.
- Adopt and utilize iterative/Agile methodology as needed or requested.
Who You Are
- A US Citizen who possesses a security clearance (or be eligible to obtain one).
- Residency in the US required due to clearance requirements.
- 8+ years’ experience implementing solutions with one or more web content management systems.
- 3+ years’ experience implementing solutions using Adobe AEM within the DoD is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE, Apache Sling, OSGi, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
- Solid understanding of RESTful web services, SOAP, JSON, XML, and other integration technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Cloud, AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Proven experience with AEM architecture and configuration including multi-site deployments, site optimization, performance tuning, testing, solution design and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience as an AEM Developer, including custom component development and integration with an AEM platform.
- Strong proficiency in Java, HTML, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies used in AEM development.
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) and their integration with AEM.
- Experience with AEM Core Components and AEM Touch UI development.
- Knowledge of AEM administration, including user permissions, configurations, and system maintenance.
- Understanding of software development methodologies, version control systems, DevSecOps, and CI/CD processes.
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills with ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $100.00. Rate is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
