Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Night, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Previous experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry preferred

License:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state of work

Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Must-Have:
- Navy blue scrubs
- English proficiency (speak, read, write)

Job Description:

- Collect pertinent data to assess the health status of patients.
- Analyze assessment data to identify diagnoses, problems, and issues.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans with measurable outcomes.
- Coordinate care delivery and delegate tasks to appropriate healthcare personnel.
- Evaluate progress towards achieving goals and outcomes.
- Practice with cultural diversity and inclusion in mind.
- Communicate effectively in all aspects of nursing practice.
- Collaborate with patients and key stakeholders for effective nursing practices.
- Demonstrate leadership in nursing practice.
- Pursue knowledge and competence to align with current and future nursing practices.
- Integrate evidence and research into practice for quality improvement.
- Evaluate personal and peer nursing practices relative to professional standards.
- Utilize resources to deliver safe, effective, and cost-efficient care.
- Maintain an environmentally safe and ethical practice.
- Promote shared governance and contribute to research for improved clinical outcomes.
- Physical abilities required include walking, standing, lifting up to 35 pounds, and responding quickly to unit or patient condition changes.

Note: Request time off (RTO) not approved for certain holidays including Halloween, one holiday in Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year's Eve, as well as Valentine's Day February 14, 2025.
