HealthPro Heritage has a great Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity in our PACE division.
- Must be a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the state of California
- Setting: This role will support two PACE communities in San Diego (92021 zip code) and Encinitas, CA.
- What is PACE? PACE = Program of All-Inclusive Care for the elderly. This is a comprehensive, fully integrated, provider based health plan for those who require nursing home level of care.
- Why PACE? No productivity measures and the ability to provide the patients with the care they need without payor limits.
- Open to Part-Time and PRN options as well
- Full-Time Wage Range: $48.00 - $51.00 per hour

Responsibilities- Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations. Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results.
- Treatment and Education: Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitor and adjust treatment plans; educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
- Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
- Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
