POSITION: Project Aware Program Manager. DUTIES: The Project AWARE (Advancing Wellness and Resilience in Education) Manager will lead, develop, and maintain a comprehensive plan to meet critical objectives outlined by the employer, in compliance with the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) and the federal Substance Abuse Mental Health Services administration (SAMHSA). The Project Manager will serve as the Tribal Education Agency liaison to the State Project Director and will build infrastructure, collect and share data, create local policies, oversee the implementation of key programmatic elements, develop and maintain relationships with Tribal, school and community organizations, and increase communication with families to build ongoing wellness and resilience for students. This position is grant funded and continued employment is contingent on availability of funding. REQUIREMENTS: Have a BA/BS in Psychology, Sociology, Humanities, Criminal Justice, Education, or related field. Have 1 year of experience working with the youth, families, or organizations supporting them. Have experience in program development and the administration of budgets. Have computer experience in software programs including Microsoft Word and Excel. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Have valid Driver s License for state of residency and be insurable under the Tribal vehicle insurance policy. Pass a thorough background check including Criminal History, fingerprint check, and pre-employment drug test. PREFERRED SKILLS: Work experience with Native American youth and family services. Experience working with grants. WAGES: Pay range starts at $59,494.00/year. SHIFTS: Days. JOBS SITE: Ignacio,CO. BENEFITS: Competitive compensation packages and benefits for employees.
