Alta Rancho Pet & Bird Hospital is a compassionate and caring animal healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional medical services to our furry friends. We are looking for a friendly and organized Veterinary Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing top-notch veterinary care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist clients and their pets with a warm and professional demeanor, both in-person and over the phone.
• Schedule appointments, manage the clinic calendar, and handle patient check-ins and check-outs.
• Answer incoming calls, address client inquiries, and provide information about our services.
• Process payments, manage invoices, and maintain accurate records in our veterinary software system.
• Assist with the handling and preparation of patient records, including updating client information and medical histories.
• Communicate effectively with the veterinary team to ensure smooth clinic operations and excellent patient care.
• Educate clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and products available at the clinic.
• Handle and resolve client concerns and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area and assist with inventory management as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in veterinary assistance or related fields is a plus.
• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine love for animals.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with computers and familiarity with veterinary software systems is preferred.
• We are a paperless Avimark practice
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain a calm and friendly demeanor under pressure.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
