Intermediate Emergency Medical Technician

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a full-time or part-time Intermediate Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-I) for immediate employment. Our EMTs are responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency medical assistance calls, delivering high-quality care and treatment to patients, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment and emergency care to patients using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
  • Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
  • Utilize necessary skills and equipment to provide proper care, including communication tools and cleaning procedures.
  • Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
  • Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • State Driver's License
  • State EMT-Intermediate or NREMT certification
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Compliant driving record
  • Pass Physical Agility Test (PAT)
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
