Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Opening NEW GRADS WELCOME

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner for a leading healthcare facility with 2 locations- one in Cookeville and one in Sparta, Tennessee, conveniently positioned between Nashville and Knoxville along I-40. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our pediatric and adolescent patients and are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient's health status and address their needs with empathy and professionalism.
  • Medication Management: Prescribe appropriate medications and administer treatments in accordance with established protocols and physician direction.
  • Collaborative Approach: Work closely with physicians to communicate any patient concerns, coordinate care plans, and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Medical Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting treatments, progress, and any notable medical events.
  • Patient Advocacy: Advocate for patients' well-being and provide them with the support and encouragement they need throughout their recovery journey.
  • Adherence to Regulations: Strictly adhere to medical care regulations, safety standards, and best practices to ensure the highest quality of care and patient safety.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on medical advancements, guidelines, and technologies to provide informed and up-to-date care to patients.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members to provide holistic care and promote a positive and supportive work environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Clinical Experience: Proven work experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in a pediatric or adolescent care setting.
  • Medical Knowledge: Proficiency in medical guidelines, procedures, and advancements related to patient examination, therapy, and recovery.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Compassionate Care: Demonstrated caring and compassionate attitude towards patients, with a focus on building trust and rapport.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members from various specialties.
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Tennessee, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
