The manufacturing engineer collaborates closely with the QPC Engineer, and the production supervisor to ensure that the production is meeting the efficiency and quality requirement set by the leadership team.
Under the general supervision of the operations manager and a functional relationship with the engineering and maintenance manager, the manufacturing engineer is responsible for providing materials and process engineering support while leading process development, improvement, and scale up projects in manufacturing. Manage scope and magnitude of project assignments from a single component to new product introduction. Work with internal and external customers to improve processes, reduce scrap/waste, justify capital expenditures, solve process-related problems, and implement improvements. Work with production supervisor to define and implement standard in ERP system. Working closely with supply chain to create the proper BOM and routings for each product and department. This position is the liaison for implementing new processes or new products from either the engineering team or global team.

- Bachelor’s Degree, Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical, etc.)
- 1 - 3 years Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Project Management experience
- Microsoft Office products experience

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $68,700 to $106,300 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 9% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $74,883 to $115,867. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
