Are you ready to elevate your career in network operations? We're looking for a dedicated Network Operations Analyst to join our dynamic IT operations team in Houston, TX.

This role is crucial for maintaining the robustness and efficiency of our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security that our business operations depend on.

What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and Optimize Network Health: Keep a keen eye on network performance and bandwidth. Utilize event logs to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct regular updates, patch security vulnerabilities, and ensure all network devices are running smoothly.
  • Advance Our Network Solutions: Implement failover tests, participate in disaster recovery operations, and contribute to new network designs and technology deployments.
  • Support and Collaborate: Offer guidance and second-tier support to our junior network administrators, helping resolve complex incidents swiftly.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Keep meticulous records of network configurations, change management activities, and asset management information.

What You'll Bring:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Professional Experience: 3-5 years in network administration or IT support, with a deep understanding of network protocols and hardware.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in network services, enterprise security solutions, and tools like Cisco and Wireshark. Scripting knowledge (e.g., Python) is a plus.
  • Certifications: Cisco, CompTIA, or other network-related certifications are preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and communication prowess to effectively handle cross-functional collaborations.
