Join the Muncie - Spartech Team We are currently looking for a Quality Auditor to join our team full-time to support our variety of customers. If you meet the qualifications and want to make a difference in a fast-paced environment with a company large enough to offer you room to grow but not so large you become “just a number”, and who has a large focus on safety and success, Spartech might be the ideal company for you Audit and monitor quality requirements on a line in accordance with the company quality assurance policies. Conduct inspections: in-process, in-coming, final inspections, and dock audits on occasion. Initiate non-conformance reports as required. Document and report inspection findings and results; and monitors corrective actions to inspection findings. Perform accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies as per inspection plans and specification requirements. Read and interpret specifications and part visual inspection sheets. Perform product identification and traceability activities, as required. Document information on the computer in various databases and other internal programs; logs the assembly non-conformities and communicates information to production department. Conduct various tests and quality checks on finished products. Ensure that all products have been tested and fall within standards, measured to specifications and within tolerances, and ensures readability of labels. Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures. Comply with all safety, quality, and production work rules and regulations. Good attendance. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Requirements Familiar with Microsoft Office and associated software. Knowledge of calipers, micrometers, height gages are an added plus. Previous experience performing Quality Audits / Inspections preferred. Familiar with NWA statistical software a plus. Good understanding of problem-solving techniques, root cause analysis and PDCA investigation. User of Six Sigma, SPC and Lean Continuous Improvement preferred. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be flexible and be able to work 12 hours when necessary.
