HOME CLINIC: Open positions are located at various clinics across the Spokane Valley (Including: Primary Care, Ear Nose & Throat, Gastroenterology, Sleep Medicine, Sports Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Orthopedics, & Vascular Clinics). We will discuss current open positions and your preferences during the interview. List of Extra Items The job utilizes a combination of skills including: Clerical computer and phone skills Customer service/people skills Medical terminology Hands on clinical skills Typical job skills include: Taking vital signs like pulse and blood pressure Updating medications, allergies and other information in patient's medical records Performing some medical procedures, specimen collection and lab testing The position will support the delivery of cost-effective, clinically competent, reliable healthcare by following the core values of Providence Medical Group - justice, excellence, dignity, integrity, and compassion. Medical Assistants work under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed and assist in providing basic patient care to assigned patients. This role is responsible for administrative and clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, and assisting physicians with exams. Medical Assistants are expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. Associate Medical Assistant Required qualifications: Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months) Associate Medical Assistant Salary Range, NE Washington: Min: $17.06, Max: $26.07 Medical Assistant Registered: Required Qualifications: Washington Medical Assistant Registration within 60 days of hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. 6 months of healthcare experience. 6 months of Medical Assistant experience. Medical Assistant Registered, Salary Range NE Washington: Min: $17.06, Max: $26.07 Medical Assistant Required qualifications: Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for the WA State Certification exam Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
