Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Med Surg Float Pool RN, you will be responsible for patient assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care.

  • Formulate and revise care plans based on patient response
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient's needs
  • Administer medications and treatments
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care
  • Educate patients and families on care and treatments
  • Facilitate discharge plans

Experience

  • 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience as an RN

Education

  • Associate Degree, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred

License and Certifications:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • Registered Nurse
