The individual will be pivotal to a team providing ideas for improving the OFA Healthy Marriage website, developing resources, developing and disseminating social media content, and consulting with OFA as OFA establishes a Healthy Marriage/relationships social media presence. As part of the team supporting OFA HMRF the Social Media Strategist shall have general knowledge of the social sciences and a broad array of topics, including but not limited to, responsible fatherhood, healthy marriage, poverty, child support, high school -aged youth and at-risk youth populations, low-wage labor markets, economic stability, career pathways, family stability, safety net coordination, co-parenting, and family formation. The Social Media Strategist shall also have excellent written and oral communication and research skills. The Social Media Strategist should have familiarity with key aspects of social media including researching media best practices, developing engaging content, leading and supporting dissemination, developing relevant reports and ad hoc documents, and acquiring and interpreting social media analytics (Hootsuite, Linktree). The Social Media Strategist will work collaboratively with the HRSMP team to support the effective development and implementation of a comprehensive media strategy and a social media plan.
