- Department: Surgical Services Peri-Op Program
- Position Summary:
- Deliver safe direct care to assigned patients
- Work in collaboration with the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans
- Assist with special tests and procedures
- Participate in orientation and precepting of new personnel
- Institute emergency measures as necessary
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Administer medication and document clinical findings
- Promote patient safety and environmental conditions in accordance with hospital policies
- Continually enhance your professional growth and development
- Encourage patients to participate actively in their own care
- Qualifications:
- Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program
- RN license in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Specialty certification (preferred)
- Heavy Work, must be able to lift 50 to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Chemical and biohazardous materials handling requiring PPE
