Job Description

Position: Civil Engineer | Site Development

Job Description: Our company is currently seeking a highly qualified Civil Engineer to join our team as a Site Development specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and planning a wide range of civil projects, including site layouts, horizontal and vertical control, grading and drainage, paving, and site utilities. You will use your expertise to perform quantity calculations and prepare detailed specifications and contract documents while exercising sound judgement and utilizing specialized engineering techniques and procedures. Additionally, you may occasionally serve as a technical specialist or Project Manager on mid-size projects, but project management is not the primary focus of this position. As a key member of our team, you will also have the opportunity to oversee the work of other professionals and technicians. If you possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, at least 4 years of professional experience, and excellent leadership and communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. Responsibilities:

- Design and plan production for a wide range of civil projects, including site layouts, horizontal and vertical control, grading and drainage, paving, and site utilities

- Perform quantity calculations and prepare detailed specifications and contract documents

- Utilize specialized engineering techniques and procedures to carry out complex assignments with sound judgement

- Oversee the work of other professionals and technicians as required

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience

- Licensed as a professional engineer (PE) preferred

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Hands-on experience with civil engineering software such as Civil 3D, InRoads, and Microsoft Office

- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
