Seeking candidates with multiple levels of experience for other positions

1. Current Registered Nurse license to practice in California.

2. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing with a minimum of one (1) year acute care experience within the

past two years OR (2) years experience in acute care within the past 3 years.

3. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire and maintained thereafter.

4. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire and maintained thereafter.

5. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 6 months of employment and

maintained thereafter.

6. Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate effectively in the English Language.

7. Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, and co-workers.

8. Must be able to provide leadership in a positive direction that is consistent with the policies, goals,

objectives, mission and vision of the Hospital and Nursing Departments.

9. Kern County Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) certification within 1 year of employment and

maintained thereafter.

10. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 6 months of employment and maintained

thereafter.
