Looking for an motivated individual to join our sheet metal fabrication team to lead job/capacity planning and scheduling Must enjoy/thrive in a fast paced, independent environment that requires problem solving, process improvement, along with customer focused decision making and communication. Role will have the ability to be a part of growing the Supply Chain department into other areas of the company. Primary Responsibilities Create/coordinate production plans based for each fabrication work cell considering all internal or external constraints meet tight and changing due dates Proactive communication with production cell leaders for changes in production scheduling/prioritizing Plan, schedule, track, subcontracting processes for painting, finishing, and/or machining needed for production needs and meeting OTD goals Organize/communicate daily shipping requirements (vendor and lead time evaluation as needed to meet due dates) Lead proactive, thorough customer, leadership, & floor communication for order/delivery updates, OTD status, and any bottlenecks Quickly address/resolve production issues and react to changes in customer needs to minimize delays in due dates and meet expectations Utilize and develop the ERP system to assist in managing workload Requirements: Previous experience in production/planning or master scheduling role in a metals manufacturing environment, prior experience in a job shop/sheet metal fab environment strongly preferred Supply Chain or Manufacturing Operations education preferred, individuals without industry specific experience will still be considered with this related education Some previous experience in logistics/purchasing is a plus. Must be self-starter, with a high level of detail orientation, and strong independent follow through Ability to react to changing priorities, and willingness to problem solve and get the job done Comfortable communicating with people at all levels internally/externally WISCONSIN METAL PARTS, INC. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
