This role is crucial for leading a team of technicians in maintaining manufacturing equipment, supporting all preventative maintenance programs, and promptly addressing operations interruptions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordination: Collaborate with the shift production supervisor to ensure seamless operational support.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Execute all scheduled preventative maintenance requirements to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Machine Maintenance: Assist with machine repair, changeovers, setups, and operations as needed to minimize downtime.
  • Scheduling: Efficiently schedule time, materials, and equipment required for tasks, and accurately complete all necessary documentation.
  • Flexibility: Provide versatile support for additional tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager.

Experience and Skill Set:

  • Safety Compliance: Adherence to safety standards is mandatory.
  • Electrical Expertise: Proficient in working with various types of electrical controls, controllers, plant power, and circuits.
  • Technical Proficiency: Capable of assembling and disassembling tooling and gauges.
  • Robotic Systems Knowledge: Experience with robotic systems and welders; Yaskawa Robotic experience is advantageous.
  • PLC Software: Competency in PLC Allen Bradley Software.
  • Professional Attitude: Maintain a positive, service-oriented demeanor with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
  • Additional Skills: Willingness to support and learn tasks related to electrical, ventilation, plumbing, carpentry, lighting, and welding.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of robotic systems and welders (Yaskawa Robotic experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency in assembling and disassembling tooling and gauges.
