JOB DESCRIPTION
  • As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will provide care and supervision to residents (vital sign measures, Injections, skin checks, medication & incontinence management, communication with health care professionals, responsible parties and administrators, and diabetes control).
  • Document in EHR and eMAR all incidents, assessments, and care plans of residents.
  • Check, create and submit all incidents and death reports to the Department of Social Services.
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse will assist with medication storing and distribution.
  • Must be COVID Vaccinated.
QUALIFICATIONS

Work Experience
  • Preferred two years' experience as a LPN working with Geriatric patients
Education
  • Graduate from a fully accredited LPN nursing program
License/Registration/Certification
  • Active unencumbered California LVN License
  • ACLS/BLS - American Heart Association
Requirements:
  • COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.

  • A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
  • Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
