Overview

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice as second Hygienist. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health and providing exceptional patient care.

Duties

- Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques

- Administer local anesthetics

- Maintain accurate patient records using Open dental software

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain aseptic techniques

- Work with patients of all ages, including pediatrics, in various areas of dentistry such as general dentistry

- Monitor vital signs during procedures

Experience:

At least on year required

Required Skills:

- Proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology

- Experience with Open dental software

- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols

- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations

- Ability to work with patients of all ages, including pediatrics

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Previous experience in general dentistry

\_ Virginia license is reguired
